The Satelec Scaler Tip No. 2 is a professional ultrasonic tip designed for handling larger supra-gingival deposits. It’s suitable for use on thicker plaque and surface build-up, using controlled ultrasonic micro-oscillations during routine procedures.
With its slightly curved, flat-ended design, the tip makes it easier to move across tooth surfaces and reach interproximal areas. This helps when working around different tooth contours and tighter spaces. Marked with a blue colour band, it is intended for use at higher power and amplitude settings. For best handling, it is typically used tangentially to the tooth surface with a gentle to-and-fro motion.
Made from corrosion-resistant steel, the tip is suitable for repeated sterilisation and regular use in clinical settings.
