The Acteon Newtron P5 XS is a high-performance ultrasonic scaler featuring Acteon’s Newtron technology for precise, linear vibrations. It delivers effective scaling while preserving tooth and tissue integrity. The NEWTRON P5 XS B.LED includes a self-contained irrigation system with a 300ml tank (500ml optional) for direct mixing of solutions like water, sodium hypochlorite, or chlorhexidine. It also features adjustable flow control for powerful cavitation and an integrated B.LED light ring to visualise plaque.
The NEWTRON P5 B.LED offers similar performance but uses an external water supply connection. Both models include colour-coded tips for accurate power selection and are designed for easy cleaning with flat glass surfaces, an inclined front panel, and a detachable power knob. The unit comes with the standard Newtron handpiece, with the option to upgrade to the Slim B.LED handpiece for enhanced visibility.
